I have a XCP/XAPI infrastructure. I have recently migrated a Windows VM fro=
m another server running XCP/XAPI to this server. Now the Send CTRL+ALT+DEL=
 button does not work. The VM does not have IP and it is not able to connec=
t via RDP too.

I tried this workaround too without success: http://www.poppelgaard.com/xenserver-tools- for-xenserver-6-1-workaround-for-vvs-pvs - installwirzard.msi > all seems ok, but after rebooting I've no more network card, in device manager it's hidden, but with no errors/unknown, as when you remove hardware and driver remains. What happened? Citrix making available the code of XenRT is also an important step for the Xen Project (with it, in effect phase 1/3 of creating a more comprehensive framework for the Xen Project is complete). At the last Advisory Board meeting, the following AB members agreed to form a Test Framework Committee to look at next steps on how we can make this happen. The companies which so far agreed to be on the committee are AMD, Amazon Web Services, CA, Calxeda, Citrix, Intel and Oracle. This does mean, that the project will not have an alternative to OSS test for some time. I am planning to schedule a BoF and/or session at the Xen Developer Meeting to get more community input. Citrix making available the code of XenRT is also an important step for the Xen Project (with it, in effect phase 1/3 of creating a more comprehensive framework for the Xen Project is complete). At the last Advisory Board meeting, the following AB members agreed to form a Test Framework Committee to look at next steps on how we can make this happen. The companies which so far agreed to be on the committee are AMD, Amazon Web Services, CA, Calxeda, Citrix, Intel and Oracle. For more details, see http://wiki.xen.org/wiki/AB_Meeting/August_2013_Minutes#.231_Open_Source_testing_framework The basic idea is to create a test-as-a-service framework for the Xen Project which is hosted at a vendor neutral location. The framework would be open to the community to extend. It will still take some time to complete this work (probably Q1 next year). This does mean, that the project will not have an alternative to OSS test for some time. I am planning to schedule a BoF and/or session at the Xen Developer Meeting to get more community input. I expect that members of the still to be formed Test Framework Committee will work with the wider development community. Hi everyone,

I want to access the hypercalls of XCP using a programm= ing language such as C or Python, and would like to know if it has APIs for= me to do that.

I would like to know how I can go = about invoking the XCP api in my code, if that is possible. I would also li= ke to know of the alternative tools/APIs that I can use if this is not the = case.

If I ignore it and just do the snapshot, I get the following error: 2VM_SNAPSHOT_WITH_QUIESCE_NOT_SUPPORTED OpaqueRef:77655d2e-4c6d-9970-0e2f-65dd3d2ec2cc Error is the same for every VM I have. I do not use xen_vm_snapshot_with_quiesce, but this error pointed to it. Certainly. Currently, the Xen Project Newsletter lists the critical highlights of the month for folks who don't have time to check the Xen blog and events calendar on a regular basic. It has links to some of the most notable Xen Project blogs, a listing of Xen-related events in the next few weeks, and (starting in this issue), links to external articles which have value for Xen users and developers. Rather than featuring new content, it is a quick rundown of the important things in the Xen world for the past month and for the month ahead. It is meant to be a quick read with links to more information, so you can investigate those things which matter to you without wading through tons of information which may not meet your needs. Our intention is to keep it monthly so that we don't burden your inbox any more than necessary. If you read it and decide that it could be improved by including or excluding items, please let me know so we can make this a more valuable experience for everyone. And we always include a link to unsubscribe if you decide you don't want to receive further issues. Does that help?
