Hi Rasoul,

 

I suggest you to take a look of nabla-containers. It releases Unikernel applications

as OCI compatible images. So the Unikernels can be orchestrated by Kubernetes.

But this project supports x86_64 only. But I think you can enable it on Arm64 easily,

because nabla-containers is based on solo5, and solo5 supports Arm64/KVM.

Hello Dear,

This is Rasoul a phd student in computer networks. I'm working on Bringing ligh-weight NFV to the edge. I used to work on containers to implement VNFs and use kubernetes as the management and orchestration tool. But, now I'm going to work on unikernels. I have several questions regarding running, management and orchestrating unikernls on ARM devices.

1) I have searched a lot to find a platform for unikernel construction. But still I have doubt about choosing the right platform that exactly is designed for NFV. Could you please suggest me some solutions?

 

2) Which Hypervisor do you suggest for ARM devices that is also supports unikernels.

 

3) I have not find any MANO solution for unikernels like Kubernetes that is specifically designed for containers. Is there any MANO solution for unikernels.
