If there is a META, and it is "installed" (it is somewhere sensible like /sur/lib/ocaml or something) you can check that ocamlfind knows that place by doing $ ocamlfind printconf If it doesn't have the right set of directories in its search path, you can edit the configuration file (listed by the previous command).
