These libraries used to work with MirageOS and compile fine to JavaScript today 
(so the amount of C code that they contain is relatively limited). It would be 
great to open issue on the bug tracker of Base to make the maintainer aware of 
the issue (which should be fixable without too much trouble hopefully).
