Disk drive caches are only explicitly managed by controller firmware when operating in RAID mode. So this commit effectively disabled writeback cache flushing for any drives used in JBOD mode, leading to data integrity failures. Disk drive caches are only explicitly managed by controller firmware when operating in RAID mode. So this commit effectively disabled writeback cache flushing for any drives used in JBOD mode, leading to data integrity failures.
