The rationale is due to the 4.6 announcement: "Since the 4.6 release is going
out officially on 10/9, Sarah suggested that we should push out the press
release time (including blog post, etc.) to the following Tuesday, October
13th. This gives us extra cushion for approving a quote from members, and we
are pushing it out earlier in the week rather than later." ... Earlier in the
week is better, as we will reach more people.

Otherwise the post looks great: some minor comments/questions

I am a little baffled about this sentence: it may be better to focus on the
benefits of "extending" rather than "filling the disk", which sounds a little
odd

X-Gene firmware

As an aside: does this need to be in the Xen 4.6 release notes or is this issue
unrelated to 4.6?

how about replacing "early this month" with "shortly" or "in a few days"

Excellent work
