OK.

Now it does seem we are double counting something somewhere. So if I take this correctly from the attached spreadsheet, for Earthlink we only have

$850 for power per month

$825 for the rack per month

I would add a bit of contingency (round this up to $1900 per month) such that I don’t get into trouble if we have more power consumption

And $935 for setup. The other setup cost is in the Allnet quote

We received two quotes. The details are in the attachment “XenProjectColo.xls”.

Summary:

Jump: $8,700 per month plus $8,900 setup.

EarthLink: $3,000 per month, $9,400 setup.

 

The WG therefore recommends we go with EarthLink.

 

I believe you already have the firm quotation from Jodi Burke @ EarthLink, with all the details needed by the AWB.

 

Hardware

We received a quote from All-Net (see attached pdf).

Summary:

Hardware (24 whitebox test servers, 2 main servers, concentrators, switches etc): $53,079

Installation (100 hours labor): $8,500

Support (annual): $17,680

 

The WG recommends we accept this quote.
