Re: [Wg-test-framework] May 13th XenProject - AllNet call

Lars,
Both Gateshead and Newcastle have 3 open USB ports in rear and 2 open USB ports in front.  I would suggest themat we leave the front ports free for mouse and key board if needed.

While working in the rack at 16:20 eft I heard something power cycle.  It did not sound like a server, it might have been the 48 port switch but I did not see anything booting.  It might have been from the rack next to ours.  Someone check the log and see if there was an interrupting around that time.

I swapped the cables back to oseleta0/1

Dell, will call back in about 2 hours with an update

Ian: should I detach sympathy from serial ports

Don: May be worth a try

*Agreement: Ian to detach sympathy from both Osoleta's*

== HuxelrebeX ==

Don: was checking whether it works

Ian: Machines work, but does not understand why

*Agreement: Hand over HuxelrebeX over to Ian to run commissioning tests*

== RimavaX ==

Don: have to switch the lines and ports back

Don: have to look at RimavaX again

Ian: Paul's email was a little confusing

Ian: Original problem was that 1 worked and 0 didn't

Don: Couldn't get either one to work

Don: Will try and talk to Rimava1 and double check whether this works

Don: Checks ... Rimava1 is not responding

Ian: Thinks that the adaptor likely isn't the issue

Ian/Don: believe this is most likely a config setting

*Way forward: Paul and Don to go to COLO and verify BIOS setting and test serial lines*

Don: Possibility of another ARM box?

Lars: not yet concrete - need to get Advisory Board approval and do not yet know about timing
