Re: [Wg-test-framework] Inquiry from SoftIron.co.uk (SoftIron Overdrive 3000)

Hi Lars,

No problems. So I can create the paperwork on our side, how many sets of rails were you after?

Thanks
Jason

Jason,

I can arrange the payment and will provide the shipping address later. But I will need to get the Linux Foundation finance team involved. I CC'ed Namhai Nguyen from the Linux Foundation to help set that up.

Namhai: the Advisory Board rules allow me to authorise small expenses like this. So from my perspective the expense for the rails is approved.

Hello Ian

As this is a low value order request a telephone credit card transaction is the quickest and most practical way to get these to you ASAP.

Our VP operations Jason Van der Schyff  Ccd will contact you to arrange the payment .

The rails cost $50 a set delivered within the USA.

Please send across your contact details for Jason to call you

Kind regards

Eugene

The boxes don¹t need rails all of our customers mount them in the rack
using just the  'L brackets¹  or elephants ears .

when they need maintenance, these would need unscrewing and then
the chassis would need supporting somehow while the work is done.  Or
the whole machine would need to be removed, but then the testing or
whatever can't be done in the rack.

Rails are available if you prefer just let us know ?

Yes, we would like rails :-).

Thanks,
Ian.
