In my message to you earlier this week, I stressed that Synoptek was committed to keeping you in the loop as we worked through our assessment of the outage.  To that end, attached is a preliminary root cause analysis of the event.  While we are waiting to get Windstream’s final root cause analysis document, we wanted to provide this update to you.  The preventative follow up actions listed in the attached report are already underway.    A final root cause analysis from Synoptek will be sent to you once we incorporate Windstream’s final report.

Again, we fully empathize and understand the impact this outage had on your business.
