LocationInformation indicates the TargetId as the middle 2 characters. The xenstore backend device ID contains a formatted variant of this, as it encodes additional information (see xenvbd/fdo.c __ParseVbd() @426) The Page 83 data will append the vdi-uuid to any other data (from xenstore or synthesized) as a vendor specific ascii field. > -----Original Message----- > From: win-pv-devel-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:win-pv-devel- > bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Paul Durrant > Sent: 13 July 2015 16:24 > To: RafaÅ WojdyÅa; win-pv-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > Subject: Re: [win-pv-devel] Identifying PV disk devices > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: win-pv-devel-bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:win-pv-devel- > > bounces@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Rafal Wojdyla > > Sent: 13 July 2015 16:16 > > To: win-pv-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx > > Subject: [win-pv-devel] Identifying PV disk devices > > > > Hi, > > > > Is it possible to obtain the backend device ID for a particular PV > > disk from user mode?
