Re: [win-pv-devel] N00b question about using Windows PV drivers with Windows 10 Pro and Windows 2012 R2 Standard on Xen 4.5.2

Just FYI – Citrix XenServer drivers are part of the open source xenserver.org distro (so are fairly permissively licensed)

And if you look at the drivers in Dundee BETA.3 – they are strangely similar to Xen Project 8.1 drivers

(for graceful shutdown, you only need the xenbus and xeniface driver packages)

But yes – signed Xen Project drivers would be nice....

So no way to enable the shutdown monitor without installing drivers that will freak out Windows 10's driver signing requirements, hm?  Microsoft really grabs the world by the short hairs......

Hi.

minimal hacking of the VMs to get it to work that would at least enable
graceful shutdown, while I wait for signed drivers? Help! :-)
I guess, you can try citrix xenserver's drivers if you have licence. BTW
we are all waiting for the opensource signed drivers as The Saviour.
