All,

Now that all master branches have had their version bumped to 9.1.0, and the
latest builds of 9.0.0 have passed sanity tests, I can announce that I have
signed those builds and they are officially released. (Available directly at
https://xenbits.xen.org/pvdrivers/win/9.0.0).

With this new major version of the drivers comes a new console driver
(XENCONS). With this installed, it is now possible to run 'xl console' from
dom0 and access a shell inside a Windows guest. There are also a new pair of
drivers (XENVKBD and XENHID) which provide support for PV keyboard and pointing
device (nominally mouse, but actually with absolute co-ordinates) which means
that USB emulation may be turned off after installation without any degradation
of the guest (VNC) console user experience. This is advantageous as USB
emulation places a significant load on the host, compromising the maximum
number of Windows guests that may be run.

  Cheers,

    Paul
