We’ve done some CEPH-RBD stuff but not with XEN/Citrix XEN. I’d be highly participating in testing this implementation and have some available machines where I can proof this. I’d like to participate if possible.

As have we, and would also like to participate, we have plenty of high end sleeping storage systems in the lab we could put to work

Hi Osvaldo,

(copying xen-api list)

Thanks for your interest and offer of help. Our XCP team here in Citrix is currently looking at Ceph/RBD support – the current prototype is using upstream qemu (much newer than the one in XCP currently) for the datapath and libvirt’s storage pool driver for the control path. I’ll chat to the guys doing the work to see if there is something you could help with.

Cheers,

James

Hi James,

I'm wondering if there's anything going on in this space. I'd also like to help with the project if possible.

Cheers!
