[Xen-bugs] [Bug 155] New: ifconfig xen-br0: error fetching interface information: Device not found

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=155

Summary: ifconfig xen-br0: error fetching interface information:
                    Device not found
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: Linux-2.6
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Hypervisor
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: deon@xxxxxxxxxx

I'm using a vanilla FC4, and have created a couple xenU domains.

When I boot my SYSTEM and start my XenU domains, ifconfig xen-br0 shows
correctly.

After a couple of days (not sure how long), ifconfig xen-br0 no longer works,
but instead shows:

: error fetching interface information: Device not found

Sometimes, there is gibberish before the ":".

If I reboot, everything will be fine for a couple of days again (sorry, not sure
exacty how long before it stops).

BTW: "ifconfig" on its own, happily shows all interfaces, including xen-br0.

(The only way to ifconfig xen-br0 is to reboot - ie: I cannot change IP address,
etc).

What debugging would you like me to do?
