http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=163 Summary: T42 Hangs after some time. Product: Xen Version: unstable Platform: All OS/Version: Linux-2.6 Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Hypervisor AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: deon@xxxxxxxxxx I have an IBM Thinkpad T42, which I have installed vanilla FC4. If I run with the non-xen kernel, then laptop runs for days quite happily. If I boot the xen kernel (regardless of whether I have started xen domains), while I use the laptop it runs quite happily. Once I leave it alone (ie: running without keyboard interaction), after a period of time it locks up. The period of time varies from a few minutes to a couple of hours. A power cycle seems to be the only way to get out. I've tried with xen0 running with xenu domains and without, and still the same problem. (I run the same config on a T23 without any issues). I've tried booting with acpi=off and noapic, and still the same problem. Any suggestions? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
