This bug has been fixed in the xen-unstable.hg tree, as of changeset 6333.  Many
distros ship symlinks from libcurses.{a,so} to libncurses.{a,so}, including all
the distros we developed xenstat/xentop on (Debian, Gentoo, and Fedora). 
Apparently SLES9 does not ship these symlinks.  Changeset 6333 changes the
-lcurses to -lncurses, which should work on any distribution which has ncurses
installed.  Thanks to David F Barrera for discovering the problem, and to Keir
Fraser for committing the fix.
