So your system is using the local apic for interrupt generation, but you should still have one of the three platform timers running. Looking at xen/arch/x86/time.c, I don't see how you could boot without one of the three timers running: static void init_platform_timer(void) { if ( !init_cyclone() && !init_hpet() ) BUG_ON(!init_pit()); } What hardware are you using? SMP? real or just hyperthreads?
