Problem still happening. TEsted with changeset 7826 on x86 RHEL 4 box, PAE
enabled build. 
[root@lamb5 ~]# xm list
Name                              ID Mem(MiB) VCPUs State  Time(s)
Domain-0                           0      250     1 r-----  9652.5
vm1                                1      220     1 r-----  8634.6
[root@lamb5 ~]# rm -f /tmp/vm1-saved
[root@lamb5 ~]# xm save 1 /tmp/vm1-saved
[root@lamb5 ~]# xm list
Name                              ID Mem(MiB) VCPUs State  Time(s)
Domain-0                           0      250     1 r-----  9695.6
[root@lamb5 ~]# xm restore /tmp/vm1-saved
Error: /usr/lib/xen/bin/xc_restore 15 20 2 58368 1 2 failed
