http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=510 Summary: Live migration results in VM Kernel BUG - Invalid Opcode Product: Xen Version: 3.0 (general) Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux-2.6 Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: P2 Component: Unspecified AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: Brian.Carb@xxxxxxxxxx We have 2 installations of sles10 beta2 (bundled with xen 3.x changeset 8628 ), on 2 Dells. We created a minimal sles10 file-backed vbd on an nfs share using the sles "install into directory" feature. The share was mounted identically on the 2 Dells. On one Dell, we started this VM (via xm create) and loged in. We had xentop running in a terminal session on both Dells. When we tried to migrate the VM, xentop showed that the VM had started on the target, but when we connected a console to it, we saw the error below. We got the same error when we attempted the migration in the other direction (initiating the migration from the other Dell box).
