http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=530 ------- Additional Comments From andy@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2006-02-17 12:12 ------- I built a slightly more conservative kernel (before your reply, so still have the highmem options) and rebooted with 256M RAM for dom0, 7 days ago. The server has given fairly normla performance in that time but just now started giving me oomkiller again and performance went through the floor as if it was heavily swapping, but showing no swapping. I have now rebooted, have installed slabinfo (needed a newer procps) and am running it, and also now recompiling kernel with no HIGHMEM. Any other suggestions? If I cat /proc/slabinfo every 5 or 10 mins into a log file then is this a file that you guys would be able to interpret? I am concenred that an oomkiller will kill my slabtop while I'm not looking and it will have been of no use. I'm running it in screen, but still. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
