http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=687 ------- Comment #3 from gareth@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2006-07-14 17:18 ------- For those looking to try this fix, the procedure is 1. Get yourself a x86-64 machine with GCC and the standard development environment. 2. Get yourself the xen-3.0.2-src.tgz tarball. Expand it. 3. Insert the three asm instructions described above in linux-2.6-xen-sparse/arch/x86_64/kernel/entry-xen.S 4. Build Xen as normal using "make dist" followed by "./install.sh" Those three asm lines are just explicity disabling the alignment checking in rflags during the interrupt handler. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
