http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=339 ------- Comment #8 from russell@xxxxxxxx 2006-08-20 06:59 ------- (In reply to comment #7) > The message is due to unwanted ipv6 router solicitations, and can be safely > ignored. There was some discussion on the mailing lists about a fix for this, > but I'm not sure it's made kernel.org yet. Doesn't it make more sense to fix this in the supplied scripts that set up the virtual ethernet interfaces, rather than in the kernel? If an interface didn't have an IPv6 address, it wouldn't send out router solicitations... Or is this related to an enhancement to the tools to make it easier to indicate not to set up the default IPv6 address when the interface is being brought up (IE: we need more than a global setting). -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
