http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=774 Summary: [XEN-HVM] broken ps/2 mouse driver on Linux HVM guests Product: Xen Version: unstable Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: blocker Priority: P2 Component: HVM AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: ricardoz@xxxxxxxxxx CC: niv@xxxxxxxxxx, pl@xxxxxxxxxx, dbarrera@xxxxxxxxxx, khoa@xxxxxxxxxx HW: x460 procs: 8 memory: 2GB Problem description: After installing a Linux HVM guest (any) and trying to login to through the graphical interface, the mouse is all over the place. It is very accelerated and a person cannot accomplish anything. You cannot even reboot the guest os by using the mouse. It is 100% unusable. In contrast, When booting with a Windows XP HVM guest, the mouse is offset from the user pointer but it works fine like that. The mouse in this case is 100% usable. So, this is a problem with Linux HVM guests for sure. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
