Have you rebuilt your tools from scratch and reinstalled them? This was an issue with the unified framebuffer handling code in Xend that was fixed last week. > - If I take out vnc and sdl entirely, xm save is very quick, returns without > error, but doesn't do anything - I can do this useless save several times > (checkpoint file is ~1k, domain is still running). But, xend-debug.log shows > ERROR Internal error: Couldn't map shared info Again, I thought that was fixed. Can you check that this is with a fresh build of the tools, and if so please post the domain configuration? > Another observation is that after a restore (the first and only one that works > for me) the mouse in the VNC display is no longer using the tablet driver, as > the pointers aren't synced any longer as they were before the save. That's a known problem - qemu doesn't support save and restore of USB devices yet. :( BTW, posting to xen-devel is a much better way of communicating new issues; bugzilla reports are mostly used as a place to store crash dumps/log files on known issues.
