[Xen-bugs] [Bug 970] New: Xen freezes while trying to load a non existent kernel

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=970

Summary: Xen freezes while trying to load a non existent kernel
           Product: Xen
           Version: unstable
          Platform: x86
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: major
          Priority: P2
         Component: Hypervisor
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: ridcully@xxxxxxxx

1. I've tried to load with 'xm create -c domain_config' the mini-os. The
configuration file 'domain_config' points to a kernel image file name
"mini-os.elf" which doesn't exist.

2. After the message 'loading configuration file ...' the complete system
freezes.

3. If you change the line "kernel = "mini-os.elf" to the correct file (in this
example mini-os) the system boots.
