[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1059] New: Live-Migrating leads to a dom0 Oops and leaves a Zombie VM

http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1059

Summary: Live-Migrating leads to a dom0 Oops and leaves a Zombie
                    VM
           Product: Xen
           Version: 3.0.3
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Hypervisor
        AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
        ReportedBy: xen@xxxxxxxxxxxx

During live-migration of a domU while running
> memtest 400M
(see: http://pyropus.ca/software/memtester/)
a kernel Oops occurred. Afterwards there was a Zombie - VM -- no way to kill,
shutdown or remove it.

System (dom0):
2*Intel(R) Pentium(R) III CPU - S 1400MHz
2GByte RAM
Debian 4.0
Linux 2.6.20-1-xen-686 #1 SMP Wed Apr 25 02:12:58 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

System (domU):
Debian 4.0
Linux 2.6.18-4-xen-686 #1 SMP Mon Mar 26 21:49:04 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

(Note: I tested what happens, if the RAM change-rate is faster than the
network. Some hundred times it worked well - but once I run in the error
described here.)

Kind regards & happy debugging
