http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1055 ------- Comment #2 from uli.staerk@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx 2008-04-01 12:52 ------- I just had the same bug using Xen 4.0.1 (4249p). XenCenter reported: VM didn't acknowledge the need to shutdown. In the console I can see the error message right before the kernel crashed: Bad page state in process 'xe-update-guest' page:c1128e60 flags:0x00000014 mapping:00000000 mapcount:-1 count:0 Trying to fix it up, but a reboot is needed Backtrace: [<c0105208>] show_trace+0xd/0x10 [<c01056fc>] dump_stack+0x19/0x1b [<c013fe3a>] bad_page+0x44/0x6e [<c0140644>] get_page_from_freelist+0x23c/0x3c0 [<c0140817>] __alloc_pages+0x4f/0x261 [<c010f0b3>] pte_alloc_one+0x14/0x2d [<c014847e>] __pte_alloc+0x16/0x2a9 [<c014b318>] copy_page_range+0x348/0x75c [<c0118f35>] copy_process+0xae9/0x11c9 [<c01198aa>] do_fork+0x8d/0x173 [<c0102c2b>] sys_clone+0x25/0x2a [<c0104bd7>] syscall_call+0x7/0xb So this is not limited to Xen 3.x, but also 4.x. The VM was based upon the "Xen Debian Etch 4.0" Template. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
