+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #550 +++

I am seeing a series of messages on dmesg and on the serial console indicating
that time went backwards.

HW: IBM HS20 Blade, EMT64
OS: SLES 9 SP2 with Xen builds, starting (in my tests) with changeset 8984.
Observed today with changeset 9013 as well.

Note: the messages also appear on the guest domains dmesg output.
