http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=1412 Summary: Xen + CPUFreq - AMD P-States missing from config Product: Xen Version: unstable Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Hardware Support AssignedTo: xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ReportedBy: adwin.putteeraj@xxxxxxxxx Using a Dom0 kernel disables the selection of P-States in kernel cpufreq (Frequency Scaling) config (while leaving Powernowd enabled). Booting in such a kernel sets the CPUs at their lowest P-State. Xenpm is able to manage C-States but not P-States, and even leaving cpufreq to dom0-kernel doesn't bring back the P-States. Commenting the external processor depend in drivers/cpufreq/Kconfig enables the selection of P-States, but compilation fails, since cpufreq is defined both in xen and the kernel itself. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.xensource.com/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug, or are watching the assignee. _______________________________________________ Xen-bugs mailing list Xen-bugs@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-bugs
