[Xen-bugs] [Bug 1485] shutdown -w hangs from Dom0

------- Comment #2 from spam@xxxxxxxxx 2009-07-13 06:38 -------
Just to clarify, Normally `xm shutdown -w domu` works. Only when a new kernel
is installed does the xm shutdown stop working.

About every 2-3 months, a new xen kernel is released for Ubuntu and most of the
time the xm shutdown -w breaks at that point. We go back to an older kernel
for a month or so, then attempt an upgrade again and everything works. The
domu.cfg files are updated every time the kernel changes (forward or backwards)
and dom0 is rebooted.
