x86/vLAPIC: adjust types in internal read/write handling

    - use 32-bit types where possible (produces slightly better code)
    - drop (now) unnecessary casts
    - avoid indirection where not needed
    - avoid duplicate log messages in vlapic_write()
    - minor other cleanup
