[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index] [Xen-cim] DMTF Virtualization workgroup, docs, and mofs
The DMTF System Virtualization, Partitioning, and Cluster workgroup that is defining the CIM model being implemented by our Open Source Xen CIM providers is still in the draft stages of writing the relevant Virtualization profile documents and CIM MOF files. Some of these will shortly be submitted for formal review to the DMTF Technical Committee, after which they will become formal publically-accessible DMTF standards docs. Until that time, all DMTF Virtualization documents - specifically the MOFs and profile docs describing how to use them - are technically "DMTF Confidential", and hence I will not be able to post them on the XenSource Xen CIM wiki. For this reason alone I would strongly suggest everybody seriously interested in the development of the Open Source Xen CIM providers to join the DMTF System Virtualization, Partitioning, and Cluster workgroup; see http://www.dmtf.org/about/committees/SVPC_Charter.pdf for workgroup details, and http://www.dmtf.org/join for how to join the DMTF. _______________________________________________ Xen-cim mailing list Xen-cim@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-cim
