Hi Anthony --

I recall that some time ago (around the time of the merge)
you submitted some patches related to fixing ar.unat saving
and restoring.

I recently rediscovered my copy of Tony Luck's ia64 regcheck
utility and ran it. According to regcheck on tip, ar.unat is
not getting saved/restored properly. Earlier this summer,
regcheck reported no problems with ar.unat. I also tried
turning off fast_reflect (as I vaguely recall there was
a problem there and there is still some #ifdef's there
related to ar.unat) but regcheck still reports ar.unat
problems.

Are you expecting (after your patches) that ar.unat is
now working properly? The change reported by regcheck
may have happened from any changeset, but since you have
submitted patches around this area, I thought you might
be able to shed some light, or at least see if you could
reproduce the problem. Do you have Tony Luck's regcheck
tool?

Thanks,
Dan
