I have often used ski for Xen development but have not tried
it in a few months.  However I never tried to use networking
(simeth).  Did you build the vmlinux with the hpsim config
file or just turn on CONFIG_HP_SIM?   Also I think the command
line options you are specifying may be wrong... I will
have to try it again to check (and may not be able to
try until next week as I am focused on Xen 3.0 release
right now).
