  Actually, looking more closely at your attached log, this cset may be
the culprit:

http://xenbits.xensource.com/ext/xen-ia64-unstable.hg?cs=2d4807ed1056

Does reverting this cset allow you to boot (hg export 13117 | patch -p1
-R)?  The balloon driver crash occurs much later in dom0 bootup.  Looks
like we should probably only set the noncache flag if the WB attribute
is not present since a range can have both WB and UC set.  Thanks,
