Re: [Xen-ia64-devel] Destroy VTI domain would cause Xen crashing in latest changeset 15557

It seems that commenting out the following line will fix.
But I haven't confirmed/tested it.

in vmx_init.c
static void vmx_release_assist_channel(struct vcpu *v)
{
-        free_xen_event_channel(v, v->arch.arch_vmx.xen_port);
+        //free_xen_event_channel(v, v->arch.arch_vmx.xen_port);
}

See also in xen/arch/x86/hvm/hvm.c
void hvm_vcpu_destroy(struct vcpu *v)
{
    vlapic_destroy(v);
    hvm_funcs.vcpu_destroy(v);

    /* Event channel is already freed by evtchn_destroy(). */
    /*free_xen_event_channel(v, v->arch.hvm_vcpu.xen_port);*/
}

and common/domain.c
void domain_kill(struct domain *d)
...
    evtchn_destroy(d);
    gnttab_release_mappings(d);
    domain_relinquish_resources(d);
        ...
        => calls vmx_reelase_assist_channel()

thanks,
