Ramesh,

Current production release, 2.0.6, is not able to run 64-bit. Current unstable (to become 3.0) is 64-bit capable. At the moment, I believe the plan is to only support 64-bit kernel under 64-bit Xen, but you can run 32-bit apps on any version of x86-64 linux. If you're planning on using 64-bit Itanium's, I don't think there is a 32-bit OS for that architecture, so I guess it's not a problem.

At some point in the future, unmodified guests will be fully supported, which will mean that you can run any OS that is runnable on the processor architecture, say DOS 3.2, OS/2 1.3 (16-bit version!) or Windows XP x64. But that's not quite ready yet... ;-)

Is Xen compatible of running on 64 bit OS / hardware ? .  If so , can i have dom0 on 64 bit and the guest domains as 32 bit OS ?
