Hi Chetan Jog!: I think that you *must* use another version of the compiler: yum -y install compat-gcc-32 yum -y install compat-gcc-32++ then joe /usr/lib/python2.4/config/Makefile change to CC=gcc32 and finally make CC=gcc32 world May this help.
