  • Thread-topic: invalid network interface after starting xend

Before starting xend (xen 3.0) these are my correct network interfaces:

eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:14:5E:0A:53:04
          inet addr:192.168.1.51 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0

eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:14:5E:0A:53:05
          inet addr:192.168.1.52 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0

After starting xend i have some ungly interfaces:

eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:14:5E:0A:53:05
          inet addr:192.168.1.52 Bcast:192.168.1.255 Mask:255.255.255.0

lo Link encap:Local Loopback
          inet addr:127.0.0.1 Mask:255.0.0.0

peth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr FE:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF
UP BROADCAST RUNNING NOARP MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

vif0.0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr FE:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

xen-br0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr FE:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

Where is going my eth0 interface? And what is this funny peth0 interface with
this wrong mac address?

Thanks for your help.

Stephan
