Hello,I've tried all the install directions, all the wiki howtos, etc, and haven't been able to startup a Xen domain 0 properly. So far i've tried: - install from binary (2.6.11.12) - install from source (2.6.11.12) - aptitude install xen-system (2.6.11.12) and they all hang when trying to boot. Here's my typical grub entry: title Debian GNU/Linux, kernel xen-2.0.6 / XenLinux 2.6.11 root (hd0,1) kernel /boot/xen-2.0.6.gz dom0_mem=131072 noreboot module /boot/xen-linux-2.6.11-ocxen0 root=/dev/hda2 ro console=tty0 console=ttyS1,19200 savedefault boot and here's the boot output:root (hd0,1) Filesystem type is ext2fs, partition type 0x83 kernel /boot/xen*2.0.6.gz dom0*mem*131072 noreboot [Multiboot*elf, <0x100000:0x3f070:0x35f90>, shtab*0x175078, entry*0x100000] module /boot/xen*linux*2.6.11*ocxen0 root*/dev/hda2 ro console*tty0 console*tt yS1,19200 [Multiboot*module @ 0x176000, 0x3fc808 bytes] savedefault I'm running Debian testing on IBM HS20s (Xeons) compiled with gcc-3.3I have a feeling it has something todo with my grub entry. I'm not used to using the module label in grub...so I just put what was on the HOWTOs. thanks, dan _______________________________________________ Xen-users mailing list Xen-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.xensource.com/xen-users
