Well, you didn't specify the exact xen version you've installed (or it got 
lost in the part I deleted...), but from portage I'd guess its

xen-3.0.0_pre20050906.ebuild

which is now a month old. Maybe retry with a fresh snapshot?

If that works, try blackmailing the folks at http://bugzilla.gentoo.org into 
updating that ebuild ;)
