I also appended that too to the kernel bootparam line and the results
were the same.

We are using an internal platform (single proc/single core 939 (FX))
based on the VIA K8T800Pro chipset.

What mobo you going to test with, with recent hg snaps
I have made trying to bring up SMP guests has been an adventure.

I am testing with tyan 2462 SMP.
