Re: [Xen-users] xen-unstable / qemu-dm

qemu-dm is only for systems with VMX support. VMX is still preproduction so if you aren't sure, you don't have it.

It is always executed by xm.

Hello listmembers,

Maybe, this is a silly question, but i'm wondering what for is this
qemu-dm
thingy good for?

Should it be possible to create a qemu-domU with hardware emulation?

I gave this a try, but it always stops with:

Connected to host network interface: tun0 config qemu network with
xen bridge for tun0 set maxmem: No such process

strace says it's after opening "/proc/xen/privcmd"

Strange thing. Could someone tell me, if i'm using qemu-dm in a wrong way
(i tried it like the native qemu, respecting the new -vnc switches) ?
Maybe, it's only subsequently called via the python libs of xm ?

Thanks in advance.
