Re: [Xen-users] Error on starting Guest

Hi Thomas

It's difficult to use a copy from your master. Don't forget to delete the /etc/mtab file
and to edit /etc/fstab file in your domU root filesystem.

You don't need the parameter "Nics=1". It's default on 1. To debug comment out the
dhcp parameter, so you can prevent a network problem.

Hi.
I have my Xen installed on RHEL4.
I created a LVM, /dev/VGVMSXEN/LogVol01 and mounted it to /mnt.
Then. I copy the / to /mnt. Now i habe a full copy of my operating system on my LVM.
My config file is like this:

Kernel = /boot/vmlinuz-2.6-xenU
Memory = 256
Name = "RHEL4"
Nics =1
Dhcp  ="dhcp"
Disk = [' phy:/dev/VGVMSXEN/LogVol01, hda6, w']
Root="/dev/hda6 ro"
Hostname = "abcdefg"

The Error is the following when I do xm -c create RHEL4:
The system does not start and says simply Continuing at one point. Noting happens!
