I need a bit of help about to patch and to recompile onder debian
sarge the glibc-2.3.2.ds1 to solve the tls performance problem.

I got the glibc source with:
atp-get source lic6

now I've a directory glibc-2.3.2.ds1

I don't know where to add the string "-mno-tls-direct-seg-refs"

I've applied the patch with:
patch -p0 <tls.patch (this is a text file with the lines from wiki)

but I got some errors so I've edited manually the 2 files.

How can create/compile/test the deb package?
Please anyone can send to list a doc/howto for debian ?

I'm sorry for my BAD english but I speak/know only French and Italian :)
Regards

 Luca
