It's a Dell 1425, dual Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.80GHz. 3ware 9xxx SATA RAID I'll try again from scratch with the kernel config now. I'm also having problems booting a domU at the moment: VFS: Cannot open root device "sda1" or unknown-block(0,0) Please append a correct "root=" boot option Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0) I'll recompile a kernel starting with teh defaults specified in xen0_defconfig, and see how things go.
