This is one to share with everyone! I have solve the problem with not being able to connect thru ssh and xnest and Freenx/NXClient. The problem was the tcp/ip packets were being chopped off by 8 bits because my MTU was set for 1500 instead of 1492.

I have simultaneously solved slow host problems, crashes, and slow web browsing!
