The difference here (240) is not very close to what is indicated by xm
list (221)

Mine has xen-3.0-x86_32p - dunno what the difference is.

Mine has cc_compiler            : gcc version 3.3.5 (Debian 1:3.3.5-13)
I suggest you start over with gcc 3.3.5.

Also what version of hotplug is installed? I have 0.0.20040329-2
