Is there a way in Xen to place a limit on cpu utilisation and network resources ? This is not the number of cpu which a domain can use, i want to limit the cpu time/ units a domain can use maximum. Hence utilising the maximum cpu resources available to the host.

Same applies to network resources. Is it possible to rate limit a domain for example limit one domain at 1MB/sec and another at 512kb/sec ??

The reason i want to do this is inside some domains there would be constant network and cpu utilisation. Now i don't want the other domains to be affected by this. They should be able to get a constant network share as well.

Thanks.

Anand
